New Life

Sometimes a property cries out for a new life.  This project was a major renovation of an old, tired townhouse in a prestigious complex.  Our brief was to make the apartment light and airy and to bring new life into it.  To this end we demolished the wall next to the front door and built in large glass folding doors to allow access to the front garden and front patio.

We removed all the old flooring and tiling and replaced the flooring upstairs and downstairs throughout with a solid wood floor made of engineered wood with a light lime wash on it.  We designed a TV cabinet with fitted slats in the lounge.  We demolished the old kitchen and created a new kitchen using high gloss doors and cupboards with drawers.  We designed a centre island and breakfast nook with Caesar stone top.  Lighting included LED lighting and a piano feature light above the centre island.  We redesigned the guest toilet completely and finished it in wallpaper with new basins, vanity and toilet.

Upstairs we built on an extra room to double the size of the main bedroom.  It was completed with shopfitting, shelving and cupboards and LED lighting.  We demolished and remodelled the entire en-suite bathroom with new modern large tiles and wonderful black sanitaryware.

From a dreary old townhouse, we gave this one a new life!
