LOU AND ARLENE ROTTANBURG

Lou and Arlene Rottanburg have evolved the Summersun Property Group over time. Lou, a lawyer, corporate financier and ex-Chairman of a JSE listed company, joined his wife Arlene several years ago. Arlene, a microbiologist with a medical background, has always been fascinated by property and started out fifteen years ago by buying up Sectional Title developments and buildings and letting them to corporates. When Lou left corporate, they teamed up to create a formidable company specialising in interior and exterior architecture in the “Millennium Modern” genre. When you study their work you will be transported into their astonishing world of innovative interior and exterior design and architecture.

MICHAEL LEWIS

Michael graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand with a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Marketing and Psychology. He did a Postgraduate Diploma in Management. He joined a well-known corporate bank in Sandton and after gaining some business experience he was brought into the family business to head up the project management division. He follows a structured business mantra and has been well trained by Arlene to pay attention to detail. He is responsible for some of the finest finishes achieved by the group.

TATE MOSEKILE

Tate heads up the electrical division and has trained on large commercial and industrial projects. He has gained experience by working in large electrical contracting companies and has gravitated towards high end niche market residential projects. Summersun snapped him up from one of the electrical contracting firms a few years ago and he was inducted into the group, where he is lovingly referred to as “Sparks”. The complicated electrical installations and structures which are of necessity part of the work done by the group are embraced by him.
